Today is the 4th day of May. Welcome to Psalms Cast. I am Denice.
It is such a privilege to be here with you for another day. We get to spend every day with just this motion and rhythm of the scriptures in our lives and it is a transforming thing. We get to be a part of it together, so that's awesome! So take a moment to savor being drawn close into the presence of the LORD; that others stuff will be there for a bit. Come, taste and see that the LORD is so very, very good and partake of Godly nourishment for mind and soul from the five chapter of Psalms today:
Come, sit for a bit, listen and learn as we navigate through Ps 4, 34, 64, 94, and 124. We are reading from the Evangelical Heritage Version of the Bible. We are reading from the Holman Christian Standard Bible this week.
At the end of today's podcast for those desiring to GO DEEPER INTO GOD'S WORD today we turn to Jesus in Matthew chapter 7. A much needed refresher about how Jesus instructs us to navigate through life today.
So let's take a brief moment to center ourselves and invite the Lord to be our focus.
Father in Heaven, we come humbly into this moment in time seeking you. We desire to draw near to you, to experience your mercy and grace in the midst of the stuff before us today. Generously pour into us your truth. We are desperate for hope. We are desperate for YOUR peace and the joy that only can be an outpouring from You. Please open our minds and hearts to YOU and allow our lives to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit through your life-giving words. Lead, guide, illuminate as we journey today.
