King David was a "man after God's own heart," yet still committed a heinous act... he slept with another man's wife and then made sure that the man died in battle. The 51st Psalm records David's sorrow, repentance and plea for forgiveness. This Psalm creates a blueprint for us to follow when we sin (stray from God's will for our lives). Together, we can all thank God for his graciousness!
