Today is Day One Hundred Seventeen of 3,650. We entered into a deep Bible study covering the call of Philip and Nathanael in John 1 43 to 51. We focused on the profound bridge Yeshua built between the Hebrew and Greek worlds and how He recognizes the secret devotion of those truly rooted in the Word. We emphasized the significance of the "Tenth Hour" as the moment where the old cycle ends and the fullness of life with Christ begins.

We explored the obscurity of Nazareth and why Nathanael asked if anything good could come from there. Nazareth was a tiny, insignificant village of only a few hundred people, never mentioned in the Old Testament. The term Nazarene connects to the Hebrew word Netzer, meaning Branch or Shoot, fulfilling the prophecy in Isaiah 11 1. While Yeshua is the royal Branch, He chose to grow out of humble, insignificant ground rather than a palace, challenging the religious and geographic prejudices of the time.

We spent time on the mystery of the fig tree. When Yeshua told Nathanael He saw him there, He was using a cultural shorthand for private spiritual devotion. In that culture, the dense canopy of the fig tree provided a natural outdoor room for prayer and study away from the noise of the home. By identifying this specific moment, Yeshua was acknowledging Nathanael’s sincere heart and his meditation on the scriptures, likely regarding the story of Jacob’s ladder.

We concluded by looking at Yeshua as the true ladder from Genesis 28. He told Nathanael that he would see heaven opened and angels ascending and descending on the Son of Man. Today is Day One Hundred Sixteen of 3,650. We entered a powerful prayer session dedicated to the absolute dismantling of fear. We recognized that while thoughts and circumstances may rage to bring us into a state of terror, the Spirit of the Living God stands as our Victorious Salvation. We stood against the subtle nature of fear that seeks to grow within the heart until it reaches the tongue. We established that what comes out of a man is what defiles him, and therefore, our primary weapon is to speak back.

We emphasized that the effectiveness of our faith depends on the acknowledgment and confession of every good thing we have in Christ. When thoughts of darkness arrive, we do not remain silent; we resist the devil so that he must flee. Today is Day One Hundred Thirteen of 3,650. We entered a profound exploration of Yeshua as the Ultimate Immerser. We recognized that the word baptism has often been used as a religious cover up for a much more aggressive transformation. Yeshua does not merely sprinkle us with a blessing; He submerses us into the very nature of God until we are completely saturated.

The Reality of Baptizo
The word baptism is a transliteration. In 1525 William Tyndale correctly translated the Greek word baptizo as immersion. In ancient Greek culture baptizo meant to submerge, such as a ship sinking or cloth being left in dye until it absorbed the color. When Yeshua plunges us into the Spirit He changes our identity the way white cloth turns red in a vat. Our spiritual DNA is permanently altered.

The Jewish Context: Living Water
John the Immerser practiced the ritual of the mikveh which required Mayim Chayim or Living Water. It had to be from a natural moving source because the current carried away impurity. John choosing the Jordan River was a prophetic staging of a New Exodus. He told the people that their bloodline was not enough; they needed to die to their old selves and be reborn. John knew his limitation, pointing forward to Yeshua who would plunge humanity into the Pneuma, the Breath and Spirit of Yahweh.

Death and Resurrection
Going under the water is a prophetic reenactment of salvation. The water acts as a liquid grave where the old man is buried. Breaking the surface is the resurrection. That first gasp of air represents the Holy Spirit rushing into your spiritually dead lungs. You are breathing the atmosphere of Heaven. Physical water washes the skin, but the Spirit of God washes the conscience and provides an eternal infusion of Zoe life.

The River Within
During the Feast of Tabernacles, Yeshua declared Himself the source of Living Water. He used the word Koilia (innermost being), meaning the Spirit goes into the deepest core of your identity. John told people to go to a river, but Yeshua puts the river (Potamos) inside of you. You become the geographic location of His glory, with Living Water surging out from your core to bring life to the world.

This profound truth led us into deep prayer. We encourage every listener to not just hear this, but to take action. We explored the deep theological collision that occurred when Christ spoke to His disciples. They were operating under the Jewish expectation of a Davidic King who would militarily overtake their oppressors, while Christ was revealing Himself as the Second Adam, the sacrifice who would redeem humanity from within.

We spent time dissecting the concept of the Logos. To the Greek mind, the Logos was an impersonal, mechanical "Reason" or mathematical force holding the stars together. Today is Day One Hundred Ten of 3,650. We explored the mystery hidden for generations, that the Father is in Christ, and because Christ lives in us, the Father literally abides in us. We are the temple of the Lord. God no longer dwells in a physical Holy of Holies or a restricted Tabernacle but has moved His glory into our hearts.

Through John 14 6 to 12, we confirmed that Yeshua is the only way to the Father. Since Christ and the Father are one, His indwelling brings the intimate presence of Yahweh directly into our inward man.
