Welcome this week as Kate brings on an incredible guest! Byron Rodgers whos a service-centered Executive Protection Agent, Video Blogger, Published Author, and Veteran on a steadfast mission to improve the quality of the world by making good people dangerous. Over the span of a decade, I have gained extensive private security experience, conducting private security operations for each available VIP demographic industry-wide in over 60 countries.

During my time in the military, I served in the United States Marine Corps infantry with two deployments to Iraq as a Squad Leader for four years. Right afterward, I became an Executive Protection Agent (bodyguard).

I was fortunate enough to experience a seamless transition from the military back into the civilian life I was once well-acquainted with. Ultimately, this transition inspired me to author the book, “Finding Meaning After the Military, and I’m currently working on book number two: “Social Dynamics of Executive Protection.”

Today, I proudly serve as the Chief Executive Officer at Bravo Research group, the Supervisor of Security at Harvest Christian Fellowship, and the one-stop-shop security consultant for many high net worth individuals, their families, and various corporate initiatives.

I completed my AA in business management and in addition to holding a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Psychology from the University of Phoenix, I have also earned a Master’s degree in the art of Psychology with a minor in Forensic Psychology from North Central University.

I have also received Strategic Interventionist training at the Tony Robbins Training Center. I live by the values of wisdom, discipline, purpose, freedom, and excellence and my prayer is that my interaction with you and the rest of the world is in total alignment with those principles as often as possible.

Joining Kate tonight around the campfire is Marcus Torgerson!

With over four decades of martial arts experience, including three decades instructing self defense and personal fitness and two decades working nightclub security, I've become a respected expert in responding to and de-escalating violent situations.

During the past ten years, I've had the privilege of travelling the globe, certifying men and women in over 20 countries to become Krav Maga instructors, conducting instructional seminars, and rank testing . I'm the only non-Israeli on the international Krav Maga federation instructors team.

Currently, I'm teaching “mentality and movement™️", providing students the tools to survive and thrive during violent encounters.

So sit back, and enjoy your tea as you listen to "Around the Campfire with Kate" and remember it's live every Sunday at 8pm est.

In my talks, keynotes and workshops, I empower audiences with the knowledge that we can choose our future, despite the exponential advancements of technologies disrupting everything we’ve ever known.

We are in the 4th Industrial Revolution, where our lives are described in bits and bytes and it is a wonderous moment in the history of humanity. We can choose to react to the unpredictable changes happening all around us, or we can proactively choose the future we want to build. I choose to engineer a better world.

This message permeates my talks so get ready for a fun ride looking at the existing and upcoming technologies that will let us build a great future for ourselves and our communities. Artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, 3D printing, gene editing, sustainable energy and many more fascinating technologies that, combined with some elbow grease, can be used to make a world where people can live over 150 years, in green environments, without worrying about ever working for a living anymore.

I will leverage my 20+ years as an educator and my 15+ years as an entrepreneur to give you practical tools you can apply in your professional and personal life to make a real difference in your own life.

When you leave my talk, you will feel energized, hopeful and excited about humanity’s prospects. More importantly, you will leave with practical tricks making you a powerful change-maker. Be aware I will take you to places your mind is not accustomed to going, but that’s what you need to become future-proof.

The future is in our hands. Are you ready?
