Philippians 4:11-13. After the study of the new testament, Rufus is encouraged by the character and contentment of Paul the Apostle. How was Paul able to be satisfied with Christ when he was left for dead, shipwrecked, and imprisoned? Rufus shows us that Paul learned, not by accumulating knowledge but through the practice and experiences of his life.  Therefore, let us intentionally learn from our own difficulties by trusting and experiencing God in order to know Him better.

2 Samuel 6:6-7, 1 Kings 17:6-8. God asks us to trust in Him even when the outlook is bleak. Sometimes God will appear like an unkind friend, but he is not. Not even the smallest detail of life happens unless God is behind it. We cannot think of anything he has not already foreseen, so why do we still worry? Are we holding on too tightly to what he should let God control? Steve challenges us with the question: what gets in the way of us fully trusting God?

Nick Burns from Alluring Glass leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

1 Thessalonians 3:1-8. What do we do when our world falls apart? How do we respond to trials? Nick reminds us of the difficult and dangerous reality of the trials that we are destined to face, but we do have hope. God has ordained our trials. They help us grow and God will make them fruitful. Even when it is hard, let us be students of our Rabbi rather than victims of our trials so that we may not fall away from following Jesus.

Ray Kubik leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

Ephesians 2:1-3. As we arrive in busier workdays, Ray reminds us to keep the Godly rhythms we've started during quarantine. Through these rhythms, we have access to the peace of God through Christ - a peace powerful enough to bring all people groups into unity. Therefore, let us pursue this peace and unity because Christ has taken down all barriers between us and Him.

Jon Allis from CARSTAR leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

Matthew 11:2-19.  When life is not as we expect, we can rely on the promises God makes about us. Just as John the Baptist is affirmed of his purpose and character by Jesus, we too can go to God's word to be assured by our identity in Jesus. When life doesn't make sense, Jon reminds us that is not Jesus who is the problem, but our own expectations of how we thought Jesus would deliver. Jesus encourages us to not fall away from Him but to stick to our individual styles and to boldly go.

Dakota Beerman leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

Philippians 2:1-12. Dakota describes the life of a leader like on a swing - some days we are up and think highly of ourselves, and some days we are down and think less of ourselves. Dakota's definition of humility finds new ground: thinking of ourselves less. We mimic Christ, who became a man to serve us even to the point of death when we also take lowly positions. Let us be humble by loving those who are not easy to love and committing to love them for a long time. Let us stay humble because Jesus is a good leader and because we will one day be exalted with Him.

Yohannes Berhane from Greater Cincinnati Urban Young Life leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

Philemon 1. Reading the book of Philemon, Yohannes demonstrates the authority and transformative power that Christ brings in relationships. Paul's plea on behalf of Onesimus in the letter of Philemon is a witness to the barrier-shattering love of Jesus. In Christ, we are all one. There are no distinctions - not in wealth, race, or status. Let us see others as who they truly are: brothers and sisters in Christ and image-bearers of God.

Otto Liske, the owner of Otto Lisk Pro Homes, leads us in PSP: Prayer, Scripture, Perspective.

1 John, John 12:6-12, Mark 6:38-44. Otto reminds us of our great purpose and fulfillment of joy in Christ. Just as the 5,000 were miraculously fed and ate until they were satisfied, we too can be satisfied by the fullness of Christ. We are given a purpose to share this fulfillment with others. Therefore, let us find fellowship with God daily so we may be filled and ready to share our satisfaction.

Psalm 46:10. Ephesians 2:8. In our world and in ourselves, there is a constant sense of anxiousness to succeed and a pressure to get work done. However, in Christ, we are loved not based on what we do, but because He is love. Mark challenges us to enter the peace and rest that only Christ offers from the relentlessness of the world and of the market place.

Let us seek situations that feed our joy, peace, and patience in order to redeem our culture instead of condemning it.
