It’s time for me to start focusing on the areas of my business that will allow me to get Psych Phyt off the ground. Lately, this podcast has been something that I feel isn’t providing adequate value to either myself or my audience for the effort I’m putting in, compared to other things I could be using that energy for. At this point in my life, I feel like I have the time to commit… but I don’t have the mental energy. So I’m struggling to put in 8 hours of work/study/podcasting each day, and it ends up being more like 3-6 hours of actual mental work.
This podcast has been a wonderful journey so far and this is by no means the end! But with the “Rookie Roadmap” series I want to release, I feel like I need more time to produce something that’s of actual value. So once my Personal Training course is finished, I will be re-evaluating the best process moving forward :)
I’ll keep you in the loop on my socials (@psychphyt)! In the meantime, feel free to watch all my other episodes ;) Bye for now!
The prequel to my new business series!
Want to start a business!? Let’s figure it out together!
I often relate entrepreneurship to taking the leap and building the plane on the way down! It’s unpredictable, it’s uncertain, it’s exciting, and it’s pretty nerve-racking at times!
Here are some techniques to get started - these techniques are mainly designed for those who don’t have a business yet, but maybe have some random ideas here and there. However, reflecting on these important questions is always a good idea, no matter how far you are into your journey. :)
I’ve attached the YouTube video by Ali Abdaal below that I speak about if you want to check it out! He is much more articulate than I am at explaining these concepts! But hopefully my episode explains them from a different perspective, along with other techniques I’ve learnt along my journey :)
I’m excited to enter this new journey with you! See you next week!

A short and sweet episode about my Marathon, training to become a Personal Trainer, and my next fitness adventure - what did I do well, and what could I do better next time? :)
This week I’ve been feeling more productive, healthy, focussed, and vibrant! I have more energy, am enjoying my tasks more, and am getting so much done!
I talk about a few strategies that have helped me become more productive, eat better, get my creativity flowing, and reduce the likelihood of decision-fatigue. I also chat about what decision-fatigue is and the symptoms to look out for.
I thought I’d bring out all my gear this episode to show you all what I use - hopefully it might give you inspiration to find what works for you and try new things for your next race! And I hope I inspire you to book your next race, whatever the distance! Just sign up and worry about the details later ;) Learn along the way!
One item I did forget to mention was my Injinji toe socks! I absolutely love Injinji! They help prevent your toes from rubbing and getting blisters. Plus, they’re super fun patterns and colours :)
Enjoy! See you next week! Less than 10 days to go until my Marathon!
Thanks for tuning into my third video podcast! This is all so exciting to see it come together and I’m starting to get more views!! Eee! I talked about the week I’ve had with training and how my HelloFresh box sadly got stolen :’) But life is good, and everything is starting to come together. So it’s about focusing on the positives in life and letting go of what you can’t control.
Enjoy! <3
My journey with running has been a love-hate relationship. Running has always been hard and uncomfortable for me (which I’m sure it is for a lot of people!), but it’s also shown me just how strong my mindset can be. Once new distances are achieved, it unlocks my belief to a world of possibilities - running is just the beginning.
What was once a 10/10 difficulty, is now only a 7/10 difficulty (running 21.1km). The more we put ourselves through uncomfortable situations, the stronger and more confident we become.
Enjoy my adorable, juvenile editing skills <3 My first time using iMovie!
What a journey! I spent hours trying to get this video from my phone to my laptop… and it still didn't happen. Then I ran out of time to figure out how to edit videos on my phone… so here is my very first unedited, coughs-and-all video podcast! 😆
I was very nervous to put myself out there and film this video, but this is the season for action - big, small, and imperfect!
I talk about my journey, about Psychology, about the fitness challenges I have coming up, and more! :) I hope you enjoy.
Ever feel a bit lost, stagnant, or unsure whether you’re making the right decisions in life?
I run through a few techniques that I have used in the past to discover what my top values in life are.
So grab a pen and paper and have some fun discovering what your values are… and how these may be impacting your decision-making process. Or maybe you’ll find out what your true values are and discover that some important decisions you’ve made along your journey do not align with these values.
This is my final episode for this season. I’ll be taking 3 weeks off to recover from my wisdom teeth surgery and to realign my own values with my business and direction for this podcast.
Season 2 will be back on the 11th of July, 2024! Enjoy Season 1 until then :)
This midnight publish was way too close for my liking. I also enjoy my sleep and understand the importance of sleep. So for that reason, this will be my last midnight publication! Haha Definitely not my last publication altogether though - I promise I’ll be back next week ;)
There’s so much more to dive into on this topic. So if you found this interesting, I encourage you to do your own deep dive into it. The brain is so fascinating! I didn’t realise how much dopamine played a role in my motivation to achieve my biggest dreams and desires… Or even just my motivation to unpack the dishwasher…
A couple of books about dopamine recommended by Dr Andrew Huberman:
“Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence” by Dr Anna Lembke (about the role of dopamine on addiction).
“The Molecule of More” by Daniel Z. Lieberman and Mike Long. which is moreso about general everyday behaviours rather than addiction.
