In this TWO PART series episode, I enter the chat with my lovely friend, Kassidy Quadrozzi. She is the owner of The Wellness Weekend, a local retreat company and gets candid about her journey to wellness and body positivity. We discuss the importance of being in alignment with oneself, the impact of social media on body image, and the need to focus on overall well-being rather than just aesthetics. Kassidy shares her personal experience with body dysmorphia and disordered eating, and how she shifted her mindset to prioritize self-love and self-care. We also touch on the generational impact of body image issues and the importance of not commenting on other people's bodies!!
Kassidy discusses her beautiful relationship with her boyfriend Eddie and how it has allowed her to feel safe, supported and happy in her body and her life goals. She also talks about her business, The Wellness Weekend, which hosts relaxing and impactful wellness retreats for women. The retreats focus on self-care, relaxation, and creating a non-judgmental space for women to connect and recharge. Kassidy emphasizes that the retreats are inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of their fitness level or dietary preferences. She also touches on her decision to stop drinking and how it has positively impacted her mental health and relationships.
Make sure to keep your notifications on so you have quick access when part 2 drops! In the second portion of our conversation, Kassidy shares her outlook on the importance of setting boundaries and saying no, rather than constantly people-pleasing. The discussion also touches on the significance of embracing one's own path and not comparing oneself to others.
Not sure about you guys but I vote Kass as cohost of LBH. She's just a doll and incredibly wise. I truly hope you enjoy this series!
