As malcontents seek to divide us with our differences, God draws our hearts towards one another through effective community action.

July 4th, 2021 - Community Awareness - What inspired the patriot citizens at Fort Henry to keep the flag flying which inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words to the Star Spangled Banner? Their community awareness motivated them to bravery and courage and stifled the enemy. The New Covenant Community Awareness is the same for us if we draw near to God, draw upon His Promise, and draw out the best in each other. 

June 25th, 2021 sermon entitled Community Attitude from our Safely Home Series. Preacher Mike uses the promise of Jeremiah 30 about communities to encourage us to use the power, wisdom, and understanding of God to establish our communities before God. As people move to the smaller towns escaping the big cities, we can restore, rebuild, and rejoice in our little towns if we change our attitude. 

June 20th, 2021 - Special Days Series - Father's Day - Submissive Surrender - We consider the bad example of King Zedekiah who did not listen to Jeremiah. He paid the price, his family paid the price, his community paid the price. Fathers have better examples we can follow who know that God disciplines those he loves so that we can save our families and our country. 

June 13th, 2021 - Special Days Series - Baby Day - ARM Your Babies - As we recognize those families with babies, we are reminded that God has always had a plan, according to Jeremiah, to provide strong communities to help us raise our little ones like in the "days of old." If we ARM our babies, Appeal to the Most High power of God's right hand, Remember His miraculous wonders, and Meditate on His mighty ways, we can prepare them for the day of evil they must endure.
