My Why: The Word is like a magnificent painting… I want to learn more and appreciate it’s beauty as much as possible!

Genesis 18... Abraham's surprise visit from 3 men... Abraham boldly pleads on behalf of Sodom.

Nehemiah 7... The list of exiles who returned to Jerusalem.

Matthew 17... Jesus' transfiguration, healing of demon possessed boy, and Temple tax miracle.

Acts 17... The Bereans of noble character that eagerly examined the scriptures every day and the people of Athens with hundreds of idols hear the real Gospel!

This is Day 16!

In the book 'Mamba Mentality', Kobe Bryant committed to 3 workouts a day. His first workout was 5-7am, so that he could be home to see his kids when they woke up and give him more time to fit in the 3 workouts. He comments that it wasn't a hard decision to make because he knew it was necessary.
We also are getting a spiritual workout in every time we read God's Word and have to learn the same balance and commitment to routine. 
Q: Where do you read your Bible on this mission? Car? Home? Bed? 
I've attached a picture of my office aka 'the lab'- this place is a blessing and where I read from each morning!

This is Day 15!

Genesis 16... Hagar given to Abram and Ishmael is born.

Nehemiah 5... Nehemiah fights for the poor.

Matthew 15... Jesus teaches what comes out of a man's heart is what defiles him. The faith of a Canaanite woman & Jesus feeds 4,000.

Acts 15... The council at Jerusalem deals with circumcision issue & Paul/Barnabas part ways.

This is day 14!

Genesis 15... The Lord makes His covenant with Abram.

Nehemiah 4... There's opposition to rebuilding the wall in Jerusalem and families build with swords in one hand and stones in the other.

Matthew 14... John the baptist is beheaded by Herod, Jesus feeds 5,000 and walks on water.

Acts 14: Paul & Barnabas spread the gospel to Lystra, Derbe, Inconium & Antioch despite oppostion.
