Whether we are in the valley or on the mountain, we need to look back to see who God is and what he’s done. Psalm 135-136 guide us to look back because sometimes we can’t clearly see or feel him in our current situation. The result of seeing him is praise and thanksgiving, so as we move towards Beyond Sunday next week, may our generosity flow from the praise and thanksgiving stirred by these Psalms.
