The Public Trust Doctrine says we have a right to the basic need for water, but what happens if you can’t drink from your tap? Public Trust, a new podcast series produced by Midwest Environmental Advocates and Wisconsin Sea Grant, explores that reality with Wisconsinites living it.
The show is hosted and produced by A Public Affair alum Richelle Wilson. She joins Douglas Haynes to talk about the podcast and share some clips from the first 2 episodes. Gavin Dehnert, Tony Wilkin Gibart, and Bonnie Willison also join the show to help explain the issue of PFAS contamination, the role of policy, regulation, and advocacy, and the power of outreach through podcasts.
Public Trust can be found on MEA’s website here or wherever you get podcasts.
