After many years of experience in the public relations and marketing industries, Christina Elmen, founder and agency director of The Mae Agency saw an opportunity to work directly with individuals and brands. Christina has worked with startups and established national and international brands, focusing on public relations and social media enhancements with cutting edge initiatives and platforms.

Recently, Christina has partnered with Hayden Van Hulzen, founder of HVH Media & Marketing and influential social media marketing professional, to create a digital consulting agency, Twenty One North. Christina and Hayden, have merged to provide a larger scope of service to their current and future clients.

Shortly after college, Christina discovered her passion for event planning and communications while working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She also has vast experience from the entertainment side of the business. Christina worked on VH1’s Snoop and Martha’s Potluck Dinner Party and went on to Universal Pictures where she worked in their marketing department. She played a role in campaigns for award-winning films such as Green Book, Girls Trip, First Man, and Jurassic World. Even though she loved working for such an influential company, Christina had big plans for herself.

From her personal and professional experience, she brings a passionate approach and valuable skill set for client advantage. In addition to raising brand awareness for her clients, Christina has actively developed her personal social media platform working with multiple brands and building strong relationships within her community. Christina’s dedication to the growth of her own platform benefits her clients and partners. She and her team apply these strategies to clients’ brand development and marketing, giving them the exposure and growth they deserve.

With wanting to share her passion for the industry, Christina joined the faculty at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles where she is an instructor in the Social Media and Digital Marketing Department.

Danielle Alvarez, founder of The Bonita Project as a special guest speaker. Prior to taking the leap and founding The Bonita Project, Danielle was a publicist for AlisonBrod PR in New York City where she worked with mass and prestige beauty and lifestyle brands.

Starting her career in the rise of social media 10 years ago when Instagram was mainly used as a photo editing tool Danielle had to learn and grow at the same speed as social media was. Living in Miami Danielle felt would limit her potential to grow and she felt the need to do more as well as to learn more when she decided to take the chance and move to New York City.

In New York, Danielle helped set up an entire division focused on multicultural media and influencers throughout the U.S. When she realized that the media landscape was quickly evolving, but the way brands approached multicultural audiences was not, she knew it was time to create her own agency.

Inspired by J. Balvin's hit, Danielle began "The Bonita Project" in 2018. The agency is an integrated marketing/PR and influencer agency with a mission to change how beauty brands engage with multicultural communities and highlight women's beauty.

After taking the chance to leave her daily job and follow her dream and founded her own agency few of the relationships she made worked in her favor and brands even followed her on this venture. Now her clients include Alamar Cosmetics, Botanika Beauty, Kubra Kay, and even Clinique to name a few. Danielle specifically targets female-founded brands.

Tiffany Joy Murchison is a consummate communications professional and an influential entrepreneur leading a Brooklyn, NY based boutique public relations firm.

As the founder and principal public relations strategist for TMJ & Co. Media Boutique, Tiffany Joy leads a team in empowering humanitarian brands to flourish by exposing them to ideal audiences through fully-integrated, purpose-focused, public relations and digital marketing strategies.

Tiffany Joy’s professional experience spans several industries, from communications, technology, and financial services to publishing and entertainment. She also has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit board management. Hayden Van Hulzen is the Founder and CEO of HVH Media & Marketing; a full-service modern marketing agency tailoring unique customizable solutions that deliver accelerated measurable results. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she attended DePaul University graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Communication, Media, & Marketing.

In 2005, I was heavy in the bay area music scene, and that’s where my love for the way things work behind the scenes in music originally started. I move to LA in 2007 to study marketing and worked for my uncle, who is one of the most well-known movie publicists in Los Angeles. Working for him made me realize public relations was my passion. I lived in LA for 2 years (2007-2009) got in a lot of ridiculous trouble and moved back to northern California, where I was born, to go to Sac State. I moved back to LA in 2016 and immediately started managing talent. My first client was a women’s empowerment speaker, but my second was an international pop star. 2016 was the best and worst year of my life. That year, I was a victim of domestic violence, but also realized just how strong at overcoming adversity I really was. From there, my credibility sort of snowballed. I have been blessed to meet some amazing people that vouch for my work ethic and talents. Today, I have 6 clients that I manage, handle bookings, marketing, and pr for under my boutique company.
