Bedford advocate Erica Roffe is founder and editor of Bedford Independent online newspaper and Bedford Clanger, the arts & culture magazine. She also co-initiated Bedford pop up shops, making use of empty units and filling them with creators and artists of Independent wares and art. Erica highlights and brings out the best of Bedford...a force of positivity as opposed to default moaning. This episode was recorded at the Polhill Arms in Renhold, a handsome pub where we pitched up near the children's play area and got nostalgic about old Bedford pubs, highlighted some Norfolk Broads watering holes plus talk of Acid Jazz on the Thames and much more...
