This morning, actors Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman revealed the nominees for the 98th Academy Awards, and the industry instantly lit up. The unstoppable blockbuster “Sinners” destroyed the all‑time record with 16 nominations, surpassing legends like Titanic, La La Land, and All About Eve (each previously tied at 14). 

Meanwhile, “One Battle After Another” followed with a massive 13 nominations, and fan favorites like “Frankenstein,” “Marty Supreme,” and “Sentimental Value” each scored nine. 

And yes — the snubs were REAL. Some huge names didn’t make the cut, shocking fans and critics alike. 

This year also marks a historic moment: the Oscars added a brand‑new category — Best Casting — the first new category since 2002!
