Joining us this week is esteemed guest, Slawomir Jack Giletycz, PhD from the Department of the Earth Sciences, National Central University where his research focus was in tectonic geomorphology, fluvial processes and structural geology. Dr. Giletycz is a naturalist who has a love for the rocks and nature. He has been in Taiwan since 2004 and has learnt Chinese extensively. In this video he speaks about his research in the field of geology and its various applications, as well as how geology helps understand our topography and landscape organization.
