Was selecting these tracks as people went to the polls...was feeling a range of emotions and wanted to play tracks that felt serious, hopeful, powerful, and spoke to the need for urgent social change (not that I personally believe presidential elections impact much social change, but this election seems more of a moment than simply an election). Recorded the mix the next day, with votes still being counted, but results showing that no matter who wins, millions upon millions of white people in this country still support a fascist white nationalist even after four years of lies, violence and death.
