Episode 3 of the Diverging Clear Podcast discusses America's policy to kill passenger rail service and subsidize other forms of transportation and businesses. I'm actually discussing more of the "Why". The typical answers doesn't suffice when you take a look at some other contributing factors and motivations. In this episode I tie some policy decisions made at the Executive level of the Federal Government starting at Richard Nixon but in all honesty he just continued to carry on previous policies but he just messed up and said it out loud.
