As part of our book of the month types of conversations, we decided to discuss volume one of the Ultimates. The Ultimates is a superhero comic book series published by Marvel Comics and created by writer Mark Millar and artist Bryan Hitch, which first started publication from The Ultimates #1, as part of the company's Ultimate Marvel imprint. Some concepts from this series found its way into the Marvel cinematic universe. https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/disneyplus?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#disneyplus) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/marvel?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#marvel) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/mcu?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#MCU) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/popculture?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#popculture) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/comics?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#comics) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/movies?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#movies) https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/pulprevelators?__eep__=6and__cft__[0]=AZV-cCxNa4h4geiepaGNRFzdbxCyrkVk05BxA72tIIJ1s43j35alR49XuP7knnTPuK9PjAIAaDL71AsfOEMNWspQV6UuP1IiRMsMsfSX61576wGZ565YsBQ6YLBGurShTTtCBhydanFQZjU_2LqEWuPOHQ-D_nend-TBXCQ7XoH6Jnr5EWr2bQTfABQXDocdo90and__tn__=*NK-R (#pulprevelators) # marvel #avengers

Just in time for the second installment of DC Fandome on 9/12 tune to see what the PR team thought of the announcements from the first weekend of Fandome.

The Revelators join together to discuss a favorite of the group: the graphic novel collection Daredevil: Born Again. You laugh, you'll cry. You'll want to be Sanders' best friend.

From Wikipedia:

"Born Again" is a 1986 comic book story arc that appeared in the Marvel Comics series Daredevil. Written by Frank Miller, and drawn by David Mazzucchelli, the storyline first appeared in Daredevil #227–231. It was later reprinted in graphic novel format along with the previous issue #226, and a follow-up story arc from Daredevil #232–233, which resolves some loose ends from the original story arc. Because of this, this follow-up story arc has become generally considered part of "Born Again".

One of my (Gary's) favorite books to come out in the past few years, and the guys decided to read it with me and discuss.

Here is DC Comic's official description:

There's a new kind of crisis threatening the heroes of the DC Universe, ripped from real-world headlines by CIA operative turned comics writer Tom King: How does a superhero handle PTSD?

Welcome to Sanctuary, an ultra-secret hospital for superheroes who've been traumatized by crime-fighting and cosmic combat. But something goes inexplicably wrong when many patients wind up dead, with two well-known operators as prime suspects: harley Quinn and Booster Gold! It's up to the DC Trinity of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman to investigate -- but can they get the job done in the face of overwhelming opposition? This collected edition features the entire nine-issue miniseries! Written by Tom King and illustrated by Clay Mann.

This episode the Revelators talk about what they will be focusing on in a world with no new comic day or new movie releases, Zach showing up for podcasts, etc......

How will they entertain themselves? How well does Dustin know Joe Exotic?

Will Zach or Dustin ever get over their Nickleback phase?

Only two of these exciting questions will be answered in this episode of Pulp Revelators.

And We're back!!!!! Please join us on our first episode after our hiatus, where we discuss our favorite villains of any story.
