Today on Punchline!, I want you to claim your summer.  Just because things might be different now and on a smaller scale, that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun.  I’ll be giving you some ideas to keep you from being bored and promote the benefits of being outside, while still maintaining a healthy physical distance.  Summer 2020 is still ours for the taking.

Today on Punchline!, I’m going back to the future...or 2021.  But do you all know what next year is probably going to look like?  Now if you love to watch the Simpsons, you’ll know that they’re pretty famous.. and kind of scary, for making accurate predictions in their iconic episodes.  Let’s see if I can get at least a few things right, in what things to look out for and look forward to in 2021.  I’ll do a sequel to this episode next year, promise!

Today is Friday June 5th 2020 and today on Punchline!, I’m going to be real.  This will be a difficult conversation to have, but it needs to happen.  And it needs to happen now.  The wounds in our society are raw and it is hurting, and it needs to heal.  So cut the intro music and the usual.  This episode is reserved space for something that has never had the space to be centre stage.

Today on Punchline!, I’ll be talking about something that really hits home for me.  The US thought that it was okay to block aid going to Cuba...and what about all of the families and kids who are still being held captive at the US-Mexico border.  Since no one else is saying anything about it...I guess that’s where I come in.

I need to make something clear: food waste is probably the dumbest problem in our world today.  Canadians waste almost 400 kilograms of food per person, one of the world’s highest totals.  Today on Punchline!, I’ll give you some helpful tips on how you can reduce the amount of food you throw away and hopefully convince you to care more about your trash.
