• Pundi X and Function X have collaborated with Hope For Children, the Cyprus-based humanitarian organization, to launch “Hope For Children NFT” to accept crypto donations to support children suffering from the war in Ukraine. A total of 50,000 Hope For Children NFTs issued as a proof of donation for donors to collect. More details.

In October 2021, Pundi X Chain was launched on Function X. We are grateful to see that with the support of the community as we are taking a step closer to reach the goals we set for ourselves.

Stepping into the 5th year of Pundi X, the vision has always been there when Pundi X first established, and step by step we are constantly building towards that world where true decentralization is the new norm for everyone.

In this episode, we have invited Pundi X CEO and Co-Founder, Zac Cheah and Rory Piant from Chainlink to talk about the collaboration of the two parties and a deeper introduction to Chainlink services.

Chainlink is the most widely used and secure way to power hybrid smart contracts. Developers can connect any blockchain through Chainlink with high-quality data sources from premium providers and other blockchain networks. 

In May 2021, we announced the integration with the widely used and trusted Chainlink Price Feeds —the decentralized oracle networks that make a variety of real-time asset prices accessible on-chain for smart contracts, to fetch the PUNDIX/USD exchange rate to accurately distribute platform rewards denominated in the native PUNDIX token. 

The decision of choosing Chainlink as our go-to oracle solution was made based upon its high-quality data using time-tested oracle infrastructure. For developing DeFi services, it is critical to have reliable price reference data on-chain to precisely and transparently calculate their value.

Chainlink Price Feeds are well known to supply accurate and up-to-date asset prices reflective of global markets. Our Function X developer team has also completed the key integration with Chainlink Price Feeds in the developing Synthetic Asset Platform and is currently performing beta tests on this integration.

So, let’s take a deep dive to Chainlink oracle to see what it brings to the blockchain world.
