We covered the importance of dealing with Ones sh#t. But what about handling Ones sh#t? Doing day-to-day life. Getting up in the morning, working a job, having relationships, paying bills. Dealing with Ones sh#t usually happens when life becomes unmanageable, not handling ones sh#t. But isn’t the fear that life will become more unmanageable and handling my sh#t could get harder if I choose to deal with my sh#t?

The questions we ask today; How good is self-help if we keep giving up when the emotional attachment malware has us thort our own plans from the inside out? And how fearful are aware of actually knowing our emotional attachments and what defining moments in our lives they may be birthed out of?

Does how one defines good news insure a certain level of happiness in life? When do safe places and safe spaces get invaded? Do we grow up and start questioning if good news is really good news? Are there areas we think are good, news we think is good until we awaken to the truth of the situation? Does good news flow and change with maturity? These questions and more in S 02 E 15 punk theology....

What scares our inner kids? Ghosts, vampires and zombies? What a great metaphor for how people and families can be haunted with relational issues and unfinished business. Blurs the lines between the supernatural and our fearful childhood selves.

S02E13 Good Grief

At Punk Theology we aren’t big on saying things like "there's a right way to do this and the right way to do that" Having said that the question arises... Is there a way to grieve that healthier than others? Or is self-destruction a way of not dealing with grief? This and other questions arise as Punks engage with Russ who talks about the recent loss of a dear friend.

Is there a god of happy thoughts, sunshine, unicorns and puppy dogs that is sold to a large chunk of the populist during developmental defining moments in life? And what happens in the midst of such god if we experience damage, loss or tragedy in our lives? And would that god approve if we just want to have fun? The punks get a bit theological on this one.
