Disgrace Ventura is back! Postulating, privateering and pornographing, its about to get a lil Punkadelic up in here! Another really fun one to record! This week, on deck for the punkadelophiles, we've got a jam packed show, including but not limited to: What Guitars Should Sound Like (According to me), 9/11, and how the Simpsons already did it! Looking at you Cypress HIll! Then the climactic, chaotic and kinetic hyperdrive ride thru the lazily rolling hills of Austin, Texas that is DEATH PROOF. I saw one blogger/commenter/critic (whatever!) say that it's the only QT film that hasn't been reclaimed by film nerds as a lost classic. Well let me tell you that campaign starts right here and it starts right now. Misunderstood film. I thought this essay nailed it so I read it word for word for you heathens out there. This is a highly cultured show that reads essays and is intellectual, ok? Also the story of The Shed, London, an absolute classic bit of reporting by Vice, back when they could afford to do wildly stupid shit like this and call it journalism. How'd that work out for them? Bless. I took time also to tell you the story of punkadelic, from my early days in community radio thru to now where i'm a content slinging machine. it's art ok mom!?!?!!? you wouldn't understand! Then for your listening entertainment and enjoyment- thee best segment in podcasting- it's WALLOPER WATCH, the most criminally under-looked piece of art since Death Proof. This week features flat earth berks, sad knife nerds desperate for attention and excuses to use their knives, and the thrift store find of the absolute century. Not to be missed! We've amassed many in our tenure as the best podcast recorded in a bedroom in South Vancouver! Then: Sharting, Playstation Games, Recipes for Cow Vagina and I'm asking Who or What are Sleep Token!?!?! Does anyone know? They seem to be a metal band but there doesn't seem to be tons of metal.... call me old fashioned but..... Then I ponder the depths of depravity in the animal kingdom, and try to think around just how long i could survive out there in a given scenario where many animals are attacking me. I think i handled it like a boss. Ready to be attacked by a horde any day now. Then it's off to the races with thee best segment in podcasting: Walloper Watch. This week's edition features: Biology loving christians, brand new theories on the clitoris from professor reddit and possibly the most hilarious but racist sentence of all time. Crack Den Stefani is back! Got a huge episode on deck for you all, the craic was serious for this one! I start with a recommendation for one of the chillest but most hipster YouTube channels of all time and audio from one of the least chill cinema patrons I've ever seen. Then it's a few quickfire stories that definitely won't traumatize you and aren't about fecal matter and buttholes and narcotics and death. Just kidding, I know my audience. Throughout this episode I was playing with ChatGPT the AI text tool, we defer to its unholy demonic wisdom on several occasions. Skynet confirmed. Then we got the power rangers reunion trailer (I'm hyped TF up!), an update on the new Scorcese movie starring Leo and De Niro and we hear from none other than Dave Grohl on the intersection of Grunge and Disco music. Yes, that is an intersection that exists! Then you all kn ow what time it is. Thee best segment in podcasting returns with a vengeance. Featured in this week's Walloper Watch: the most hilarious collection of google searches ever assembled, the worst joint ever rolled by human hands, Plenty Of Fishing and a guy wondering out loud how it would feel to rape a zombie. What's up Punkadelophiles? For a while now I've wanted to have a stellar example of Walloper Watch to hand to introduce people to the segment. It's the most fun part of the show, we get to exorcise a lil negativity, and nobody really gets hurt by all the dirty words. Sit back and find out what grinds my gears as we decry the godawful things people take time out of their days to write online. We're not always looking for like racists or outright haters, more the incessant din that makes up the background noise of the internet, although we do make fun of racists frequently. Overall it's just here to try to make you laugh don't take it too seriously and remember... they live in your communities....

We do Walloper Watch most weeks on the pod, sometimes it gets cut for time, but then we'll come back around and dedicate an entire episode to it. Have fun with this one- I did!!!
