Punks Talk Wrestling

With a new year on the horizon it is time to reflect on 2023 as we look back at our very best of the year! Also for the first time ever, join us on a watch along as we look back on the 40th anniversary of The Iron Sheik Vs Bob Backlund for the WWF Championship at Madison Square Garden.

Since it's Christmas we thought we would go back and watch an old Christmas edition of Monday Night Raw! And what a treat it was! We have Ho Ho Hogan, an unmemorable Adam Rose heel turn and of course a complimentary Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

On this week's episode the guys give their thoughts on NXT Deadline 2023! On top of that, CJ teaches RW the meaning of the word 'naff' and we find out which 90's search engine still somehow exists!

Join CJ and RW as they review their first ever Attitude Era PPV together. For an era that's held in such high esteem, the guys take off the rose tinted glasses and really see if this era was everything we all remember it to be. Also, Young Micheal Cole with his goatee makes an appearance!

There has never been so much to unpack and talk about from one single PLE. And most of the talking points come from the last 10 minutes of the night! CM Punk, Randy Orton and R-Truth all made their long awaited returns on what will be remembered as one of the most historic nights in WWE history. Where do they go from here!? Let's get in to it!

Oh boy, this one doozy of a PPV. Join the guys on this wild ride as we take a look back at WCW Fall Brawl 1993. Not everything was better in the 90's and this show proves that. Questionable commentary, questionable gimmicks and the in ring debut of the Shockmaster!

Come with us as we look back at WWE Survivor Series 2013. We have The Authority, The Real Americans, Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk. It was definitely a different time...

On this week's episode we talk about the Wrigley's hold on the chewing gum industry, glitter and it's affiliation with the atomic bomb and then we finally talk about wrestling as we review WWE Crown Jewel 2023!

Ahead of this month's PLE the PTW tag team champions take a look back at WWE Crown Jewel from 2021. This was a dark horse of a PLE and was definitely a show that quickly hushed critics of the shows in Saudi.
