Lisa Buckley - seasoned puppeteer with over 25 years of experience in the industry and a humanitarian aid worker .  Lisa's has worked with such esteemed productions and programs as Sesame Street, The Muppets, Alf (co-creator) and many more. http://sattvacreativearts.com/ She has turned her attention over the last decade to working with puppets in a humanitarian aid NGO capacity facilitating teacher training in underdeveloped nations including Bangladesh, Sierre Leone, Cambodia, and Iraq where she delivers life-saving films and workshops to children in crisis.    

Focusing on youth-related issues such as trauma, hygiene, and gender equality, Lisa works on the front lines of refugee camps, using puppets as teaching tools to better the lives of those who are caught in the crossfires of upheaval, war, and disease.   

Lisa understands the power of puppets to reach children and is currently working on a Menstrual Hygiene Management program for girls ages 9-12 aiming to educate and erase stigma.
