What was I before I was born? Nisargadatta reached the absolute by enquiring about this seemingly strange question. Here we see his train of thoughts. Absolute is, and everything else is a concept. In the final sermon, the Breakthrough sermon, Bodhidharma plainly states that the only way to gain enlightenment is to behold the mind.
