The person who takes refuge under God's enormous care receives His powerful protection. This morning, we study -Elyon-, or -Most High- as a name of God in the text -tonight we study, -Shaddai-, or -Almighty--. Thinking of Elyon, we are encouraged to -Hide in God's Height.-

This message was for our Thanksgiving Day worship service responding annually to our nation's presidential proclamation to gather and offer thanks to the God of the Bible for His care over our nation as is the duty of all nations. All people and especially God's people should respond to God's power, provision, and preservation with songs of thanksgiving. Thank God for His omnipotence over all things. Thank God for His providence in all things. Thank God for His personal, particular, preservation of you in all things. Thank God for Taking Care of Everything-

God brings one ministry to a close while beginning another so His Church always has her guide. Your Governor Will Always Guide You.

God reminds us He is good on His word both to punish and to preserve His Church.----God will severely rebuke His Church in any generation. But God will mercifully redeem His Church through every generation.----Whom the Lord Chasteneth He Loveth.

We should express our gratitude to God for always providing for us day by day.

We focus on the word -renewing- of the mind with another possible translation of the Greek, -renovation-, and consider the benefits of a recent flooring installation that transformed the manse -parsonage- for encouragement and motivation to engage in more personal sanctifying renovation projects.

King Jesus will defeat all earthly kingdoms to give His people a completely secure future.--The Kingdom of Heaven will defeat the kingdoms of this world.--Because King Jesus will deliver the Church and give her total dominion.--Christ Has Secured Your Final Future.

Correctly confessing Christ as God's Messiah provides the bedrock for successful ministry for God.----Confess Christ Correctly. And Serve Christ with Confidence.----Confidently Confess Christ and Serve His Church.

While the world will fail in futile disappointment the Church has a marvelous future hope.----The Church Has a Flourishing Future.

Confessing sin to God brings cleansing of sin from God. ----Confession is Cleansing.
