This week Jenna and Jenelle wander into “purity culture”, which seemingly sky-rocketed to pop culture center stage in the early 2000’s. However, it has actually been a cornerstone of many faiths (most prominently, Evangelical Christians) for much longer. It is a topic we find ourselves frequently touching on as adult women and questioning as moms of small kids. How will WE teach our kids body autonomy, consent, body positivity and sex positive outlooks?Jenna and Jenelle grew up in religious or semi-religious households and both spent time in private schools, so they have some hot takes on how they want to raise their babies differently then they were raised, to put it mildly.
