After a slow start, the Vikings appeared to have this game in the bag, leading by 11 with two minutes remaining in the game. We all watched in horror as those 11 points vanished right before our eyes, as overtime began. Thankfully, the Vikings were done playing around and put the game away fairly quickly.

Frustrations mounted last week, when it appeared that Sam Darnold had reverted back to the turnover machine he was with the NY Jets. This week in Tennessee, Darnold strongly resembled the guy we saw the first five games this season, and a big reason this team is now 8-2. The Vikings defense, for the most part, continues to be a huge factor to this team's success.

Sam Darnold seems to have lost the magic he had earlier in the season, with another multi interception performance against one of the weaker pass defenses in the NFL. John Parker Romo, who was here during mini camp and training camp, came to the rescue, to replace injured rookie kicker Will Reichard, and nailed all four of his field goal attempts!The defense also showed up, after one very disappointing drive against, and were lights out the rest of the way!

The Minnesota Vikings entered the post Christian Darrisaw portion of the 2024 season with a win over the Colts, and newly acquired left tackle Cam Robinson didn't disappoint! Robinson was very strong the entire game, unfortunately the interior line left something to be desired. Running back Cam Akers also finally got some carries and looked excellent, to say the least.

The Vikings took a 10-0 lead, but you just knew that the other shoe would drop, especially in the Dan Campbell era. The Vikings run defense, looked a far cry from being number two in the NFL, as Jahmyr Gibbs ran right threw them on multiple occasions. Sam Darnold would again have his ups and downs, it's days like this, you wish the Vikings had JJ McCarthy waiting in the wings.

In another game that should have been a wider margin of victory, Will Reichard "Big Leg Bill" stood out, with a 54 yard, a 52 yard and the 41 yard field goal, to clinch a 23-17 victory over the Jets in London!

The Vikings were annihilating the Green Bay Packers 28-0, only to start making the most egregious mistakes, like dropping a fair catch, being strip sacked, and simply doing nothing right for a quarter and a half. Thankfully, when it looked like all was lost, Justin Jefferson, Sam Darnold, and Byron Murphy Jr. saved the day, and averted one of the most frustrating losses in recent memory.

After beating the 49ers last week, the Minnesota Vikings knew they left some plays on the field. After today's game vs Houston however, the local club did a more complete dismantling of what many would call a competitive team!

In a game that had it's share of mistakes, with up to 14 points left on the field, one being an interception against Sam Darnold in the redzone, or Aaron Jones fumbling at the 2 yard line, in what should have been a sure touchdown, the Vikings hung on and won.
