Monday 9th September 2024 will be remembered as an important milestone in the PWHL as the Inaugural Six were finally given their team names and brands with the big reveal happening on breakfast telly both in the States & Canada

A day this big requires all of the Purple Trio as the three of us go through each team one by one as we give our honest feedback on each brand and trust me we do not hold back

The moment we've all been waiting for in the PWHL is almost here as we are about to get team names and logos and it seems the league has taken a leaf out of Taylor Swift's book as most of the teasers don't seem to give much away or relate to their potential brand

We put our gladrags on and roll out the purple carpet for the first ever awards season for the PWHL which was dominated by PWHL Toronto but lets see if any of the other teams can get on the board in one of the six categories

Nearly two weeks after our PWHL Minnesota claimed history it was time for the future stars of the league to meet in the state of hockey to find out if they would be drafted and may I say it was full of surprises including Montreal taking Abby Boreen and the mentioning of our elephant in rthe room

PWHL New York have claimed the Gold Plan but given how the playoff races ended up going right down to the last day of the season I don't think there was any doubt that the No.1 Pick in this years draft wouldn't be going to the Big Apple

It's been six days since victory was secured in Boston as our PWHL Minnesota made history and became the first team to win the Walter Cup
