Purple Theory

After a little banter about five star Zach Evans's commitment to TCU, Grant and Parker are joined by Jack Johnson (@JohnyJ_15) of the Daily Kansan to discuss the ups and downs of Les Miles's first season in Lawrence, a wide-open QB battle, and how new faces on defense will work out on the field.

Grant and Parker re-live the magic of TCU's 2010 season, culminating in a Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers. They talk through the game, remember great players (hello, Tejay Johnson) and huge punters (hello, Anson Kelton), and praise Justin Fuentes's ever-so-fun offense.

PURPLE THEORY, DRAFT EDITION: @grantmcgalliard and I talk about potential landing spots and the strengths of each TCU draft prospect. Plus, we break down ESPN's new Football Power Index numbers and what they say about the Big 12.

Shehan Jeyarajah (@ShehanJeyarajah) of Dave Campbell's Texas football joins the show to discuss Big 12 Quarterbacks in 2020 and beyond.

Friend-of-the-pod and noted TCU beat writer Carlos Mendez (@calexmendez) joins Grant and Parker to break down some interesting positional battles on both sides of the ball, talk about how the recent hires of Doug Meachem and Jerry Kill might affect TCU's offense, and discuss how a shortened offseason or regular season might affect TCU's development.

Grant and Parker relive the Boykin Flip, the speed option, and other great moments from the 2014 #6 TCU vs #7 Kansas State matchup.

Grant and Parker reflect on the 2019 football season and try to place TCU's 5-7 into context while discussing some Big 12 end of season and offseason noteworthy news.
