We may not think much of our words until after they are out of our mouths. Maybe we think too much about our words and never say them aloud!

I believe we have become complacent with our words. We seem to have forgotten the power that our words contain.  We seem to have forgotten that, like food, what goes is must come out. What are we putting in?

Ps. Caity shares a word that is not only timely, yet challenging for all of us in this season of life and Purpose. WE MUST SPEAK.

Let's Live on PURPOSE!

We are called to Serve One Another, to be FAITHFUL STEWARDS of God’s grace in all of its various forms - we are called to FAITHFULLY STEWARD whatever GIFT He has given us.   

This past Sunday we looked at what it means to be a people who serve one another and how we use the Gifts we have been given through the Holy Spirit to fulfill His PURPOSE through our Church.  

We also had the incredible privilege of hearing from members of our Lead Team who have experienced incredible healing, growth and a greater sense of Purpose as they have learned to FAITHFULLY STEWARD the gifts they have been given and used them to serve others.   

We hope this Purpose Talk encourages you and helps you to know YOUR STORY MATTERS, YOUR GIFTS MATTERS, YOU MATTER!  

Let's Live on PURPOSE!

This past Sunday Ps. Aaron shared a message titled “We Will Do Greater Things” and what a message it was. In it we looked at Jesus' promise of the Holy Spirt from John 14:8-17,25-27 and left having had an encounter with this incredible Gift offered to us, His Church.

I wonder if WE ARE NOT seeing GREATER THINGS, not by any fault of our own, but simply because the Gift of the Holy Spirit has been presented or misrepresented in any other way than the sole PURPOSE of God’s will being done. 

We pray this message and this season will lead us into a place where we come to know the Gift of the Holy Spirit so that TOGETHER we can do the GREATER THINGS Jesus declared we would do.

This past Sunday Ps. Aaron shared a message from John 13:31-35. By this everyone will KNOW! KNOW what? WHO WE ARE.   

They will KNOW "WE ARE" His disciples by the way we LOVE ONE ANOTHER! By loving one another the way Jesus loves us!   

Who do the people around you KNOW you as?   

Our prayer is that our community knows “WE ARE” His disciples by the way we LOVE one another!

This past Sunday Ps. Aaron shared a message from John 10:22-30 and from it and throughout all of John 10 there is one undeniable truth:

That WE ARE LOVED - by the Good Shepherd.

The truth found in this text is that Jesus offers us two very important things: An Invitation + A Promise. 

Our prayer is that you would accept the invitation and receive the promise that only the GOOD Shepherd can offer.

This past Sunday Ps. Aaron + Caity were back to continue our series, "WE ARE PURPOSE CHURCH", and boy oh boy was it a good one. 

What is the Purpose of Purpose Church?

Our PURPOSE is simple:

To make disciples. "To be a people who are fully devoted to the way of Jesus!"

WE ARE PURPOSE CHURCH!

This past Sunday Ps. Aaron taught from Luke 4:16-21, the account of what Jesus said of himself from our series text in Isaiah 61.   

You have just heard Scripture make History, it is coming true right now in this place. Luke 4:21 MSG  

That Jesus has come for us!  He has come to rescue those of us who are poor, brokenhearted, captive, blind, and oppressed. He has come for people dehumanized by sin and suffering, by brokenness and sorrow.  

He has come: For those who sin and those who suffer. For those who suffer because of sin. For those who sin to alleviate suffering.  

Jesus has come for us - TO PROCLAIM THE YEAR OF THE LORD’S FAVOR!
