This past Sunday Ps. Aaron taught from Luke 4:16-21, the account of what Jesus said of himself from our series text in Isaiah 61.   

You have just heard Scripture make History, it is coming true right now in this place. Luke 4:21 MSG  

That Jesus has come for us!  He has come to rescue those of us who are poor, brokenhearted, captive, blind, and oppressed. He has come for people dehumanized by sin and suffering, by brokenness and sorrow.  

He has come: For those who sin and those who suffer. For those who suffer because of sin. For those who sin to alleviate suffering.  

Jesus has come for us - TO PROCLAIM THE YEAR OF THE LORD’S FAVOR!
