Episode 29: Outasight was raised in Yonkers, NY and was huge into drum and bass parties. His father, a blue collar worker, had spent the past thirty years waking up at 5am constantly reminded his son to find something he really wanted to do with his life. He continued to chase the passion of music and eventually signed to Warner Bro Records in 2009. Just a few years later his record “Tonight is the Night” went platinum and was featured in a Pepsi Commercial, the premier episode of X Factor and performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. In just a two year span he went from sleeping on fans couches to traveling the world to places like Australia, Abu Dhabi, France and England. People told him he would never make it to this level of success again but he never let it phase him. Episode 28: If you told Dylan Reese during his senior year of high school that he’d eventually quit basketball, his lifelong passion, in order to pursue music… he’d call you crazy. Born and raised in Chicopee, MA he was fortunate to have two supportive parents backing him in whatever his interests were. Dylan’s work ethic and dedication towards basketball got him the opportunity to play at the collegiate level for Regis College and along the way he began making music. Club promoters and venues began contacting him about future shows and with the realization he could only pursue the music or the game of basketball, he opted to pursue his new found passion for creating music. After having an eventful 2016 from taking his soundcloud account to over 1 million plays and playing shows across the country… it's safe to say he made the right decision. Episode 27: You don’t have to be the best at something, you just have to be ready to outwork whoever is. What started out as an internship at Kiss 108- Boston’s #1 Hit Music Station- soon became everything Marc ever wanted. He was patient & passed out demos to every station in New England that was within driving distance from his hometown of Somerville, MA. Eventually his hustle & positive mindset of “I will be the best” led him to his current position of Promotion Director of iHeartMedia of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as well as being on the air. Losing was never an option. It has simply been the burning fire inside of him that has allowed him to continuously get up after falling down. Episode 26: Aaron Naft has always lived his life on impulse & whenever he wants to try something new he goes for it. Born & raised in Bainbridge, Ohio, he decided the fall of his senior year he wanted to go to school in Boston. With little to no research he googled “business schools in Boston” & found himself at Bentley University without once visiting the school. For most of his life he was unable to find something he was truly passionate about but always kept an open mind & tried new things. During his final semester of college he was informed that he would be running on behalf of the Dana Farber Team alongside 500 other runners in the 120th Boston Marathon. Even with finals looming, being in his last semester of college & having to look for a career, Aaron didn't hesitate at the opportunity. This year for the 121st Marathon, Aaron is leading “Team Hugh” with a goal of raising $10,000. Episode 25: Originally from Indiana, Jordan Wozy had an opportunity to play football at Fullerton College in Orange County, CA. After having to redshirt his second year there, he started to lose interest in the game & dropped out to follow his creative passions. Over the next few years he began offering to work for free so that he could get experience & build relationships that he knew would pay off in the long-term. Whether it's photography, videography, or graphic design, Wozy makes sure to get quality final products to his clients in a timely manner. This is one of the biggest lessons he learned from his mentor. Just a few months back, he partnered and launched a clothing brand, Sheeesh World, with hip-hop artist Futuristic that empowers people who’ve found their passion to continue to shock the world. Episode 24: At just 19 years old Noah was running his own furniture store that his father handed to him after he left Coastal Carolina University. At one point the business was grossing $50-100k per month which allowed him to purchase a $90k pick-up truck & was taking $10-15k weekend trips down to Miami. After selling the business when he was in major debt, he packed up from Maryland & headed out to Los Angeles to have a fresh start. He began bartending at On the Rox, one of Hollywood’s hottest nightlife spots located on Sunset Boulevard. Working there he has served drinks to Kid Cudi, Kendall & Kylie Kardashian, Machine Gun Kelly, Blackbear, Mike Posner & more. All of his life Noah has been a people’s person & he looks to build & connect people when given the opportunity. Episode 23: Early in his career William Bolton was told, “spend 100% of your time on the music & when the music is dope everything else will come” & that's exactly what he did. After growing up in and attending high school in Detroit, Michigan, he headed east to attend Boston College. Even while working 9-to-5 at a marketing internship during his freshman year summer, Willy B would be cooking up beats in his basement till 2am. He passed out 1,000 free copies of his music to the students at BC & in doing so met his drummer Vicky Stix. Putting his phone number out to the public led him to connect with Hoodie Allen, who he opened up for in Europe on his first tour ever, and eventually was producing records for him. All of this would not have been possible without his parents, who taught him hard work & who were open to supporting his passions. Episode 22: The difference between being good & great isn’t pure luck… it’s the result of dedication & hard work. From an early age Gibson Hazard decided that if he was going to invest his time into something, he was going to make it worthwhile & give it his all. After having Tommy John surgery while in high school at Milton Academy, he found and began to pursue a new passion: photography. At the young age of 20, he’s already shot some of the biggest artists on the planet. Drake, The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, G Eazy, Rae Sremmurd, The Chainsmokers & many more. Most recently, he wrapped up a Europe tour with Hoodie Allen & William Bolton & began to step into the world of video. Episode 21: As an only child raised outside of San Francisco, Madeleine spent her free time in front of a camera recording herself. At the age of fifteen she was putting herself out there, reaching out to some Hollywood’s top agencies who managed the biggest stars because she had a vision for herself. After graduating from Cal Poly, she packed up her stuff & went south to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Episode 20: Only two months after beginning classes at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, Justin came up with the idea of creating a vlog which he later titled “Daily Docs”. Before getting to college, Justin would push himself to create weekly videos. After getting to school and inadvertently taking a hiatus from producing content, he realized he needed to stop wasting his time & hold himself accountable to produce daily content. Since the launch of his vlog he has put out over 400+ days of consistent content as well as launch a clothing line called “1340 Collective.” Between being a full-time student, running three businesses, and spending the time to document & edit his daily activities, Justin is nothing short of a hustler.
