On today's and DEVOTIONAL, DAILY WORD and PRAYER TIME, I share my reading from John 14:21 and how God was speaking to me, and my take-aways.
“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” - John 14:21 ESV
Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Honor thy father and thy mother
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain
Thou shalt not kill
Thou shalt not commit adultery
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour
Thou shalt not covet “But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” - Matthew 22:34-37
