Healing was - and remains - an important part of Jesus' ministry.

How can we be more than "Christians in Name Only?"

The Father qualifies us through the work of Jesus to be incorporated into the Body of Christ, his work in history, and as willing participants in his kingdom.

The disciplemaking enterprise commanded by Jesus requires us to make disciples who make disciples.

Traditionally, eschatology deals with "last things." On a cosmic perspective, this includes the second coming of Christ and the end of the world. From a personal angle, it includes topics like death, judgment, and eternal life. There's a bigger picture in the Bible however. God acts in history - and invites us to become willing participants in his Story.

The purpose of the Christian life is life with God - not just going to heaven we die or being church members now.

What did people expect when Jesus triumphantly entered Jerusalem? We look at the expectations of the disciples, the crowds, the Pharisees, and Jesus himself. We then consider our own expectations.

During Lent we've been looking at Christian disciplines. We close this week with the discipline of giving. We give because God gave first. 2 Corinthians 8:1-12

God calls us to pay attention to the world and people around us and to bring them before him in prayer.

We find healing and deliverance when we not only confess our sins to each other, but when we open up - and get real - about our fears, anxieties, and weaknesses. The Christian ideal is to be fully known and fully loved.
