March 31, 2022 Pursuing Perfect 8: Justin Sexton- Living as an American in Morocco, Mastering Discomfort, and Learning Patience
Justin is one of my best and closest friends, we have been through many ups and downs together and we have experienced inspiring highs and crippling lows. Justin has lived on three separate continents; Africa, North America, and Europe all before he turned 18. He is a world class soccer player, one of the most authentic people I know, and has the ultimate growth mind set. He constantly challenges himself in new and unpredictable ways which have built his life resume to a place most people only ever dream of. He has lived an incredible life from living in a third world country where he was an outsider, to committing to play D1 soccer at Marshall University, but couldn't attend due to an unforeseen injury, oh and by the way Marshall went on to win the NCAA National Championship that year. His experiences, stories, and problem solving ability are unique and valuable and his mentality when confronting these challenges is both inspiring and note worthy. He is always looking for ways to improve and he enjoys the daily challenges of life.

Chris Colman is a recent graduate of the University of Delaware where he played lacrosse and studied philosophy. He attended an elite boys high school where he developed an elite performance mentality and experienced what it takes to be successful in every area of his live. He comes from a family of high performers and has been surrounded by competition and challenges his entire life and saw firsthand from many family members what it took to be hyper successful. He is a deep thinker and avid adventurer having road-tripped across America with his dog while reading stoics like Seneca. He currently resides in Colorado where he is learning about life and pursuing a career in professional skiing. Chris is a normal dude with an unreal ability to focus on the task at hand, analyze himself critically, and adapt to any scenario. You will appreciate his story and the honesty and transparency and he shows while sharing about his life. It will make you think and it will encourage you to be a perpetual learner and always seek challenges and discover yourself.

Nick is a current student at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Nick is a dedicated athlete, student, leader, brother and overall impressive young man. His life is unique and his story is interesting and includes a wide range of life experiences. We discuss his experiences, lessons learned, along with his successss, failures and disappointments. Nick explains some interests topics including venture capital, sustainable business practices, suffering, and things/people which have influenced him and made him into who he is. Nick paints a picture of his experiences living in a variety of countries where he dealt with obvious discrimination, having diplomat responsibilities at a young age, being captain of three separate varsity sports teams at his high school, creating clubs in high school, developing and cultivating human connection, having the title of class president in high school, and what things he thinks are most important to pursue as part of the human experience.
