Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
Kevin gets things rolling with a slightly heftier than usual introduction, taking a little extra time to shine a spotlight on a couple of awesome new indies — Cards with Personalities and PUTRID SHOT ULTRA — along with some of the stuff he's been playing on Switch lately!
Randall & John join in on the conversation from there, and we dig into how John has never played Symphony of the Night, emulating semi-retro modern games, the recently released click-or-treat bundle on itch.io, and much more...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the usual trio in the house tonight, and a whole slew of video gaming goodness to dive into, so let's get right into it...
This week, we kick things off with some additional thoughts on a few of the games that we've discussed on recent episodes of the podcast, before kicking the ball over to John for his first impressions on Splatoon 3 — after just saying he wasn't going to pick it up a couple weeks back.
From there, we all dig into our impressions of the heavily retro inspired Panzer Paladin, and inevitably end up praising some of our favorites from Tribute Games in the process.
Finally, Randall closes things out with his adventures at this year's Portland Retro Gaming Expo, which was his first time getting a chance to go back to the show since 2014!

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
This week, Kevin truly keeps the introduction short and sweet for a change; primarily taking a little time to gush about Downwell, now that it's become his go-to game on the Nintendo Switch again — at least when it comes to playing in handheld mode!
From there, John & Randall join in on the conversation, as we discuss everything from the latest Ludum Dare game jam — including entries from PUNKCAKE Délicieux & Team Bugulon — to Warhammer and The Legend of Zelda, and much more...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. It's our first proper 'numbered' episode with Kevin back at his new home base in Michigan, and we've got all of the usual suspects in the house this week!
Kevin and Randall kick things off when some thoughts on the recently released Pocky & Rocky Reshrined — and also dig into the other games in the series, as well as some of the other retro 'reboot' releases from ININ Games.
From there, John has been sinking his teeth into Cozy Grove, a game that our pal Megan Carnes talked about way back when she joined us on the podcast.
After that, Kevin finally puts some earnest effort into starting up A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS — which of course, leads to some light A Link to the Past discussion, as well!
Finally, Randall closes things out with a little more NBA 2K23 talk, as he makes his way deeper into the 'MyCareer' mode.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
This week, Kevin kicks things off with some of the local multiplayer gaming sessions he's been getting in with some old friends, now that he's getting a little more settled in back in Michigan. He also dives into the back-and-forth process of finally acquiring a physical copy of Demon Throttle on Nintendo Switch, and even touches briefly on the Paper Mario series!
After that, both John & Randall join in on the conversation, and we talk about all sorts of video gaming related goodies! Everything from some various thoughts on September's Nintendo Direct, Bowser battles in Mario games — and they're both still chipping away at Elden Ring, as well...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the trio back together again this week, and all sorts of video gaming goodness to dig into, so let's get things started...
After a short preamble about Splatoon 3, John turns towards another recently released title from The Big N and shares some more detailed thoughts on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, now that Randall is here for some JRPG talk!
After that, Kevin and Randall dive into some neo retro gaming action — first discussing the 80s arcade-inspired Donut Dodo, before pouring some more love on The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, and the other 'reboot' remakes from ININ Games.
Lastly, Randall wraps things up with some thoughts on the latest installment of the NBA 2K franchise, NBA 2K23, as he finally takes a plunge into the 'my career' mode for the first time!

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
This week, Kevin kicks things off with some of the catching up with family & friends that he's been doing since moving back to Michigan at the beginning of this month — including doing some retro gaming on the NES with his little cousin after catching his last soccer game of the season!
He also spends a few minutes spotlighting a couple of games that he really enjoyed during some recent livestreams, while testing out the new, semi-temporary video setup!
John joins in on the conversation from there, and we get into a little bit of music-related chit chat, before veering back over into video game territory — including giving a little more love to Tuin from Sokpop.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We're missing Randall this week, but Kevin & John have all sorts of video gaming goodness to dig into, so let's get right into the action...
After teasing it just a little bit last time around, we kick things off by digging into a couple of the latest games to come to Netflix — POINPY and Into the Breach — both of which have been monopolizing a lot of our time, as of late!
From there, John moves on to a trio of games that have also had his attention in recent weeks, none of which happen to be Elden Ring, but all of which are AAA experiences — and shares a handful of gripes, as well!
Finally, Kevin closes things out with a couple of indie demos that really caught his attention after checking out the opening bits, during a livestream with our pal ParaDyme from the Indie Game Collective.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
Kevin has been pretty busy with getting settled, after moving back to Michigan at the beginning of this month — but he still manages to squeeze in a few quick shoutouts for some of the games that he recently played during the first livestream from the mitten!
Randall joins in on the conversation from there for some corporate retail 'reminiscing,' before John jumps in as well — and we chat about everything from the early days of the podcast, to our favorite crock pot recipes...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the full crew in the house tonight, and all sorts of video game nonsense to dig into, so let's get right into the action!
Kevin & John kick things off with some more overwhelming praise for Into the Breach after receiving a recent DLC expansion, thanks to...Netflix?
From there, Kevin touches on a few more games that he's been sinking his teeth into lately, including the latest release from Sokpop Collective (at the time of recording, anyways) — and also briefly mentions a couple of other gems from Annapurna Interactive, one of which we've discussed before, and one that he's just now finally playing!
Finally, John closes things out with some of his initial thoughts on the Sunbreak DLC for Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch, which has managed to pull his attention away from Elden Ring.
