TAKE WARNING: it's the 47th episode of Pushing Mongo! The boys are officially Kick affiliates and take a moment to toast the OG Mongoloids that helped get the show to this smart but humbling and ever-appreciated milestone. Without the Front Office at the helm, our heroes push on, regaling the tale of crooked cops, copping some free trim on the side, only to have locked himself in the back of his squad car with his convict concubine... I swear it really happened!
Nick and Stu welcome a good friend onto the show, to try out his jokes for a prospective appearance on the hit show Kill Tony and give him feedback before he heads down to Austin, TX for the taping.
It's the 35th anniversary of the release of the first and quintessential ska punk album, Operation Ivy's classic "Energy". Like the two aging punkers they are, the boys do what they do best: reflect.
"Alright! Get out the wayyyyy" and enjoy this jam-packed episode of Pushing Mongo!
Don't play around with the Scoville scale, kids; bad things happen.
The boys decided to go dark in Episode 46 with a healthy amount of morbid curiosity. Do you ever ask yourself, what happens when a young airline worker steals a plane? Or is there a sci-fi death pod somewhere in the world? Well good thing for you, Pushing Mongo has you covered. We even went so far as to ask what's really in those nicotine pouches. With those thoughtful questions on our minds, we turned to watching people eat the hottest crap they could find to cool things off. Thanks, Johnny. The boys wrapped it up with an update on Diddy the Diddler and even managed to get in a quick disc golf update!
46 is one you won't wanna miss, so pull up a chair and listen in!
DJ Akademiks got a weird case, why is he around?
Episode 45 is a girthy one, weighing in at just about 3 hours long, and we leave no stone unturned this week!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand in Manhattan and look into Ireland? Well, for about a week you could, but a few troll jobs from the Irish and a pair of American boobies later, the dream is dead. But as one dream dies, another is born as most Americans could stand in their own backyards this past weekend and see the Northern Lights for the first time in almost 20 years. The fellas dive into the world of first dates where Nick tells us about Shan keeping him out of jail on theirs. As the dust settles from the biggest hip-hop beef in history, we take one last look at the diss tracks between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Drake‘s #1 Stan DJ Akademiks is also in the news this week and it seems he and his hero have a lot in common. We have a bunch in store for you this week so sit back, buckle up and enjoy the ride. This is episode 45 of pushing Mongo!
It's the 44th glorious week of Pushing Mongo and, unlike Vitaly, the boys are staying hard on the march to Kick Affiliation. (How's that for tossing grenades?) This week, our heroes toast the OG Mongoloids that have been with us since the drop and welcome the new campers into the tent. A week in hip hop never seen like it before is reviewed, culminating with Metro Boomin throwing a few too many rocks in a glass house and Drake's label begging for mercy. With an industry crawling with creeps, we hit the rewind button and salute a real one, with Redman's iconic appearance on MTV Cribs. Nick can't believe the lengths that nerds go to, from Doom being played on single e-coli cells to Pastafarians suing to wear pasta strainers on their head for state ID photos. Tom Brady's Netflix roast is dissected, and the boys discuss the studs and duds. All these things and much more are covered in this episode. Thanks for tuning in! Like, share and subscribe!
It's a EUPHORIC Tuesday night and the boys are on their game. The boys discuss their previous week: they celebrate Nick's girl's very successful Fitness and Bodybuilding competition. Nick and company also hustled up to Chicago for a Benny The Butcher/Boldy James/Black Soprano Family show
Stu got his first manicure and went to a tattoo/piercing convention...
New television recommendations are discussed, including the first se toason of Fallout and Baby Reindeer.
Our heroes take a trip to amusement parks and shit on roller coasters in general, watching videos of coaster incidents and accidents to justify their fears.
What is more shameful in 2024: roller blades or a push scooter? That is discussed, along with much more on this 43rd edition of Pushing Mongo!
March is over but we're still bracketing! This week, the boys break down and vote their way through a fan-submitted music bracket. Which song will reign supreme? Nick and Stu discuss snuff films and early Internet creepypasta and shock videos. Did you know Kuwait has a national ice hockey team? Neither did we-- and it turns out there are plenty of teams worse than them. Are "fake" exhibition sports teams, like the Savannah Bananas and the Harlem Globetrotters worth seeing? All these things and much more are discussed on this 42nd edition of the Pushing Mongo Show!
We are 41 like Pearl Harbor (too soon?). This week, the boys are all over the map, reviewing the all-time UFC 300 card and results, to a very awkward situation at the James River Church's annual Men's Conference. Swinging like a sword-swallowing pole dancer, they land on Rotten Tomatoes' list of Most Anticipated Movies of 2024... Is this year going to be the worst year for quality films to date? Plans are revealed to buy up the failing Red Lobster and cull the cheapskates that take too much of an advantage of an Unlimited Shrimp deal. Nobody wants to live in a world without Cheddar Bay Biscuits! Speaking of the dearly departed, legendary St. Louis Cardinals skipper Whitey Herzog is remembered-- a man from a better time for Bird-on-the-bat ball. The John Mozeliak-led Cards of 2024? I SAID FORGET ABOUT IT, CUH!
Hey shorty, it's forty! Thanks for tuning into the 40th episode of the fastest growing show on Kick! If you don't believe that, just ask their unnecessarily high number of mods. Our heroes pend much of the first hour of the fortieth edition of our show discussing the WWE's fortieth edition of Wrestlemania, before tumbling down yet another wrestling rabbit hole. The boys and the audience build their Mount Rushmores of wrestling; Do you agree with anyone's?
If there's one thing that the boys love more than wrestling, it's food. With Ramadan cooking to an end, Nick and Stu throw down and chowing down. Salivation from dissertations are had, from over discounted Easter candy, Sun Chips, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, as well as a love letter to Swedish Fish and the Nordic tart berry of which it profiles is legendary flavour.
With UFC 300 fast approaching, we finish breaking down the card with the friends in chat.
Happy Eid al-Fitr!
"When I was a young boy My father logged me into YouTube To see a vlogging man He said, 'Son, when you grow up Would you be the streamer of the broken The beaten and the damned?' He said, 'Will you defeat them? Your lurkers, and all the non-subscribers The plans that they have made?' 'Because one day, I'll leave you a webcam To record you in the summer To join the Kick parade'"
Gadzooks, Batman! This can only be the work of THE DIDDLER!
Action follows us wherever we go, young ward, so hang on tight and don't look down!
This week, our heroes discuss the tragic bridge Francis Scott Key collapse in Baltimore. They relieve the failed Operation Breakthrough: an attempt to save three grey whales trapped in pack ice, in Alaska, 1988. A moron in England also stayed up overnight, caring for what she thought was a sickly, abandoned baby hedgehog... to then be told by a veterinarian that she had been nursing a hat bobble!
Detroit's own masked crusader, Yittielunch, joins the show to break down the evil empire, headed by Diddy, that is about to be brought to its knees... but not in the way it's used to.
Assemble, avengers of young and old and please enjoy this valiant 38th episode of Pushing Mongo!
