Put Freedom in Proper Contex

1 Corinthians 10:23-33

While Paul was writing mainly about the subject of food offered to idols, the way in which he stated the principle, "or whatever you do" verse 31, suggests that it has a much broader application. Can you imagine what would happen in all situations of strife within the church if we would agree from the very beginning to binding arbitration with the agreed-upon principle being "whatever will give God the most glory." Because of the neglect of this principle, so much good is left undone, and so much strife is begun.
