As great as it is to have further evidence supporting what we already know. You may find that when navigating some of life's harder moments it's easy to resort to old ways of thinking and defense mechanisms to help get you through.

This approach can be hurtful and damning because you can't go somewhere new with old ways of thinking ultimately damning you to reap the same poor results all over again.

One of the easiest examples of this is the Bilble with the New Testament rectifying and redeeming the old.

Old notes were weekly and sometimes daily sacrifices on an alter and new notes are the death and sacrifice of Jesus to prepay the debt for all mankind.
