Anthony Oliveira is a Canadian author, journalist and pop culture critic. He’s the winner of multiple GLAAD Media Awards and National Magazine Awards for his prose, comics, and journalism, which often focus on the intersection of queerness, religion, and culture.

He wrote the internationally best-selling novel I alluded to, Dayspring, which won the 2024 Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ Emerging Writers and has written comics for Marvel Comics and Steven Universe, and others. Dylan Scott Hryciuk is a writer & director based in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Much like most filmmakers, Dylan’s obsession started at an early age when he borrowed his families camcorder to shoot live videos of his brothers’ metalcore band in the mid2000s. He’s since turned that teenage passion into a career, developing his craft to write and direct projects of all kinds. Most notably, he’s directed music videos for artists across North America, collecting over 20,000,000 views, awards and online buzz.

Dylan’s work can be described as organized chaos. He creates layered visuals that put emphasis on rich world building, thematic through-lines and emotional vulnerability. He’s a bit of a bleeding heart and his goal is to make work that an audience can see themselves in all while being deeply personal.

Anthony Hurd is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in Albuquerque NM. Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri, self taught artist, illustrator and designer. They worked professionally in the advertising world for 20 years while maintaining a fine art career on the side. From an early age they were starting creative businesses, sewing their own clothing and selling them through local skateboarding shops, starting local music, skateboarding and queer magazines, as well as being in a handful of straight edge hardcore bands. Now working as a full time artist, my guest has shown their work around the world and along side of the most promising of artists of our time. They now have a studio/store front in Albuquerque where they work daily, preparing for whatever the future holds.

Suzy Krause is an author from Saskatchewan Canada. Her debut novel Valencia & Valentine came out in 2019 with her 2020 follow-up Sorry I Missed You not far behind. Sepideh Yadegar is a filmmaker: both writer and director. She graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art + Design and her two short films “Asal” and “From” have been celebrated at numerous national and international film festivals. Her debut feature film which she wrote and directed is called “One Must Wash Eyes” and it debuted earlier this year. It was nominated for a Leo Award and won Best Canadian Feature at the Regina International Film Festival & Awards. She grew up in Iran where her experience of free speech suppression has shaped her social and artistic sensibilities.

Drew Marquardt is an actor, writer, and director currently based in Los Angles CA. He’s spent a decade acting in Hollywood and the UK appearing in film and tv projects including Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and has more recently increased his focus on writing and directing. His short film Act of War which is somewhere between drama and dark comedy and he has directed a sports documentary titled Leonard George and the Tigers.
