We finished up our messages about the legacy that Abraham left, and how he is an example for us.

After discovering truths about God from the life of Abraham, we now look at his life to discover how to leave a Godly legacy.  

While Abraham went through a major change in his life, He needed to know some things about the God who called him to make those changes: God is in control, God chose Abraham, and God keeps His promises.

In this message we continue looking at the promises that God has made to all of His children.

We have been looking at life lessons during times of change.  We have been considering Abraham as an example of how to face those changes.  He knew that God was in control, that he was chosen, and that God keeps His promises.

We think on the same things as we go through change.  Today we look at the last; God keeps His promises.  But what are God's promises to the Christian.

Here are seven; propitiation, presence, provision, peace, power, pointing the way, and perspective.

Abraham is a great example for Christians on going through times of transition.  He had a right attitude toward God, and he responded to God's instruction with obedience.

We receive guidance from God by His Spirit, by prayer, and by His Word.

This is the final sermon in the series over the Tower of Babel.  In it we conclude our doctrinal statements that arise from the story.  In this we discover how the people responded to the flood judgment, how God responded to the sin of the Tower of Babel, and who is in control.

As we continue our journey through the Bible we come to the story of the Tower of Babel and its doctrinal lessons.  The first lesson we learned from it was that all of mankind is one race.  In this message we will consider two more doctrinal statements.  The first is that death is inevitable.  The second is that mankind's natural inclination is to follow after sin.

In Genesis 10 through 11 the Bible describes the event that answers many doctrinal questions.  The first of them is, "Are we many races, or just one race?"  This message explores the answer to that question.

As we come to the conclusion of our messages around Noah and the flood we will look at two more doctrines that come from this event; God chooses to cleanse sin by blood, and the end times days will be like the days of Noah.
