Advocacy activist Ben Carasso talks with Melanie Shiraz, miss Israel's for the year 2025 and an advocate who spreads her voice around the world

On the Use Your Voice podcast, Carasso tries to understand from Shiraz why she, an engineer and startup co-founder, chose to compete in a beauty pageant.

The answer has nothing to do with the world of glamour and beauty. For her, it was a chance to explain Israel in a different way, to use the international stage to show that we are a nation of beauty and culture, not just of wars.
