I really don't care who owns Twitter, let me get that out the way. But if you are someone moving away for your own reasons, this serves as a good reminder why having your own Web site and pointing your followers/users to that rather than a social network matters at times like this.

This is a big boost when I really need it. Maybe I'm stuck creatively, uninspired or unmotivated. But one thank you, review or comment puts me right back on track.

I believe this is the same for all of us, a few thoughts in this episode.

As time goes on it's natural for us to want to change something or take a totally different direction. I've noticed this over the past couple of weeks from a few podcasts and video channels I follow. Each one did a great job at explaining their reasons and plans which made me want to continue on the new journey with them.

Some thoughts on that in this episode on how you can get a good result from changes.

I think journal episodes like this are important because I hope that they reach people out there who may need the boost of knowing that they are not the only ones making difficult decisions and trying to stay on track with their projects and pursuits.
