Then we jump back 35 years to an interview John Arezzi conducted with Jim Ross 35 years ago on the Pro Wrestling Spotlight radio show. This includes a discussion of Ric Flair’s WCW contract expiring and joining the WWF, the just-completed WWF Summerslam event which headlined with Hulk Hogan & Ultimate Warrior vs. St. Slaughter & Gen. Adnan & Col. Mustafa plus Bret Hart vs. “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig in an unusually long match for the WWF at that time at 18 minutes. Ross had some harsh words by Ross on the style of wrestling presented, and more including live caller questions. There are also some new live calls at the start of the show.
