Qantas CEO Alan Joyce refused to give in to the stern rebukes of Senate members yesterday, despite accusations of unfair lobbying and withholding information from customers.

The airlines' ongoing stoush with Qatar Airways was front-and-centre of the Senate enquiry into airfares, but Joyce played down any effect the lockout of one of the busiest international carriers was having on prices.
