QB Spotlight

After going several months without an episode due to everything going on, we are back and ready for the 2020 season.

In this episode we preview a few of the quarterback match ups this weekend and give our take on a recent quarterback ranking list just released.

We will be back each week and will be doing our best to spotlight notable Group of 5 Quarterbacks.

After almost a two month break due to COVID-19, Eric Henry and Steven Hamner are back to talk all things quarterbacks with a focus on the Group of 5 quarterbacks

We spend the first half of the episode talking about the Group of 5 quarterbacks drafted, as well as the guys who signed UDFA deals. We also discuss a few guys who haven't signed yet and take a look into what this unique offseason will look like for these players who already signed.

We finish the podcast discussing how college quarterbacks who are in competition for the starting job are being impacted by not being able to be with their team.

Hope you enjoy this one, we are excited to get back to a regular schedule!

In this episode we take a look at the performances of James Morgan, Kevin Davidson, Jordan Love, and Cole McDonald from the 2020 NFL Combine. We talk about how they performed as well as what their next steps could potentially look like.

We also give our brief advice on the transition from high school football to the college level.

In the beginning of this episode we go over how we prep our athletes for the NFL combine and their pro day. We also look at the differences between the combine and pro day as well as the differences in training between "normal" football training and combine training.

After the inside look at the combine training, we spend the majority of the episode looking at the Group of 5 Quarterbacks invited to the NFL Combine as well as several Group of 5 quarterbacks who were not invited, but are working towards their pro day. We throw in Kevin Davidson (Princeton) in this discussion as well.

The first half of this episode we go over a few of the 2020 QB recruits from the Mountain West and Sun Belt Conferences and how some of them could have an affect on the 2020 season.

The second half of the episode we go through each CUSA team and take a look at the weapons each quarterback has and go over the best way to use them.

In this episode we talk about Quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal and how it will affect Group of 5 teams as well as QB recruits in Conference USA.
