Acclaimed photographer Dan Budnik’s photographic essay documents the infamous and powerful three day march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. The retrospective also offers viewers a rare perspective of the Civil Rights Movement as it was experienced by people of all walks of life, including musicians, actors, historic figures and ordinary citizens. Poignant and gripping images are featured of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., James Baldwin, Joan Baez, John Lewis, and the 1963 March on Washington. Exhibited at the QCC Art Gallery from October 7, 2010 through December 5, 2010.
