How does the birth of Jesus over two thousand years ago affect you right now, today? Jesus is described as the grace of God that brings salvation. So how does that impact my past, present and future?

インマヌエル。この言葉の意味は、「神が私たちと共におられる」である。この言葉の裏にあるのは、神様が世の創造前からご計画していた偉大な救いの物語である。

Emmanuel means "God with us." The story behind this word reveals the great mission that God had prepared from before time to rescue us.

エペソの1章を通して神様の偉大な栄光、そして私たちへの豊かな恵みを見ていきます。私たちがその恵みに対して信仰をもって歩むと、神さまがその偉大な力によって、ご自分の恵みが私たちを通して流れ出してくださいます。

Today we take the whole first chapter of Ephesians to discover both the glory of God and the abundant grace of God to us. We then see how, through His great power, He is able to let his grace flow through us to others as we respond in faith to his grace to us.

イェス様は私たちのすべての悪を引き受けてくださり、私たちにイェス様のすべとの儀を与えてくださいました。私たちの罪の邪悪さ、そしてそのさばきを引き受けて、代わりに私たちにご自分の聖さと、父なる神様との関係を与えてくださいました。

パウロと仲間はエルサレムに到着しました。ついたときに、パウロに対しての噂が広まっていたことに気づきました。そのため、あるユダヤ人の儀式を行いました。

Jesus took all of our bad and gave us all of His good. He put on himself the wretchedness of our sin, the punishment, the separation of our sin, and gave us his holiness, his relationship with the Father.
