Mania Weekend review with special guest Daniel Makabe

In this episode of Boots and Trunks, Jamesie looks at the 1994 Super J Cup and how that tournament served to make one particular wrestler an overnight star. And he takes the opportunity to wax lyrical at the greatest football debut performance of all time for his beloved Manchester United.

In this episode Alex tackles the Takarazuka Revue and gives a brief history of the all-female theater group and its important connection to joshi wrestling of the late 1970s into the 1980s. She also takes time to are some grievances with the way many wrestling fans seem to willingly misunderstand the culture surrounding Japanese wrestling.
