Q&Tr

In the end, it is always Tanner. One of the hosts of the Match of the Week Club, Tanner, is being sent to a deserted island with only a disc of ten matches and three segments on hand. A disc that features surprises, violence, and an American hero.

FINALLY, WE DON'T KNOW WRESTLING IS BACK...IN YOUR EAR HOLES!

After a hiatus brought on by the WDKW100, it only seemed fitting that the return featured a discussion about Dylan Hale's WDKW100 ballot. We break down his ballot block by block as well as discuss how some of his picks fit into the big picture. After hours of discussing the ballot itself, we also talk some overall thoughts on the list and what could potentially be improved next year.

Starting off a new series of shows here on the We Don't Know Wrestling feed! The Desert Island Comp series (working name) will have me sending off a wrestling pundit to a deserted island. The catch is, they get to take with them a compilation of up to 10 matches and up to 3 promos, angles, vignettes, etc.

The next person I am sending off to a deserted island is Quentin Moody, host of Psychology is Dead. We discuss his 10 matches and 3 promos/angles! We go through the wrestlers he is attached to, his origin story, and just good graps.

The first person I am sending off to a deserted island is Tom Batista, host of the Military Industrial Suplex. We discuss his 9 matches and 3 promos! With that, we go through the process of the selection and the flow of the selection. A unique list from a great guy.

A true hoot. Devon, Dylan, New York Mike, and TJ Hawke join me in what can only be described a complete mess. Tanner gets buried within the first two minutes STRONGLY. Took place in May of 2016 so try and think about the discourse around that time. Maybe.

When I decided to do a podcast on the best lucha wrestlers of 2017 I knew there was only one person for the job. When they couldn't make it I was glad JR Goldberg could come on (jk jk). We go through the weird year lucha has had, talking up our favorite blood hungry mythical creatures of the year. Talk about the change in accessibility in lucha as well.

Kris Zellner joined Tanner and me on the 15th episode of We Don't Know Wrestling. This took place shortly after Wrestle Kingdom 10, learning there was a NJPW exodus to WWE. Please tell me what else happened on this show. There is a lot of NJPW & banter frankly.

VERY cold today. VERY snowy. Sit down with a classic banter session.

There are moments in your life where you can feel the entire weight of that singular moment. Where you know what you are doing is wrong and potentially damaging to yourself yet you continue on. Welcome to Part II of Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners in which we conclude We Don’t Know Wrestling‘s year-end awards! Things get heated from spirited debate as well as the exhaustion setting in. The panel on the show consists of Tanner, Devon Hales, Dylan Hales, Fray, TJ Hawke, and Sam (that’s a me). I currently have strong feelings on Tanner after this show and debating returning to the Always Bury Tanners next year. Thought we were tight (smh). Anyways, you probably won’t listen to the whole thing but it is an experience.

We will be deciding a consensus top ten ranking for Wrestler of the Year and Match of the Year as well as a top three for Promotion of the Year on the episode. Once again, feel free to tweet thoughts on the show with #WDKW or #FKAABTs so I can shamelessly RT or Like your tweets to give the illusion of interacting with the audience.

Yesterday it was 60 degrees and today it is 15 degrees and there are 6 inches of snow on the ground. So we are going to put on the second interation of the We Don't Know Wrestling year-end awards up.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:

The Year End Wrestling Award Shows of your FRIGGIN’ DREAMS DADDY’O! Belee dat. Belee in Alabama Doink. Last year We Don’t Know Wrestling held the Always Bury Tanners and since Tanner left me to become a full-time Twitter gimmick we thought the sequel should be called the Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners. On the panel for PART I is New York Mike, TJ Hawke, Tanner (I’m sorry), Devon Hales and myself. Now I steal from last year’s description.

The rules of the awards are not very simple. There will be a top 3 decided for each category in Part I of the Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners. The top 3 will be decided by bantering, bartering, and general ruckus. Once the top 3 are set we put them in order to have a clear winner and two runner-ups. Also, if you want to tweet about the show use #WDKW so I can shamelessly RT you on that gimmick. Thanks.
